A content strategy move that beat publishing more: I mined my Search Console queries and answered the gapNinety days ago I wrote a review post on a company I use. A few weeks back, leads started coming in from it, and it took me a minute to figure out why. It was one change I had made to the page.
Google Search Console shows you the exact words people type to land on your page. Look at the queries where you are getting impressions but almost no clicks.
That gap means people are searching for it, Google is showing your page, but the page is not answering it well enough to earn the click or a higher spot.
People kept searching a specific question my post touched on but never answered head on.
I added one short section that answered that exact question in the first sentence, then two or three sentences under it. I did not touch anything else on the page.
